Time certainly flies by when you're waiting for manufacturing. Our target to begin shipping was October 2025, and we are doing everything to be able to ship the campaign by January 2026.

We have received production samples that are being scrutinized for any issues (images below!), and we are currently waiting on the final sample of the Wooden sarcophagus box. We should have that in-hand before the end of this month.

The next step we will be taking is that we will be charging all cards. We plan to do this after we approve the final sample of the wooden sarcophagus box. There will be a 48-hour notice email sent before cards are charged.

Then, as we get closer to shipping, we will lock in addresses, and at that time Shipping will be charged. Thank you for your patience, we're excited to share this progress and be moving forward!

We're still recovering from Gen Con, but I wanted to share more news!

We have a few pictures to share from Gen Con of Tom Cleaver, designer of Valley of the Kings checking out the new version! We still only had a demo copy to show off, but the manufacturing process is progressing forward.

I just locked in orders for everyone who has filled out their surveys. We left the ability for everyone to modify their pledges open for a few weeks longer than the date I previously said. If you haven't filled out your survey yet, please do!

We understand this is the hardest portion of a crowdfunding campaign, while we all wait for manufacturing windows to align and try to find something, anything exciting to share. But rest assured, we are working hard to get you this beautiful Ultimate Edition of Valley of the Kings, and we'll share more as soon as we have more to share with you all!

There have been a couple questions about shipping. Shipping won't be charged until later in the campaign after we lock-in addresses. As we mentioned in the campaign, we will make every effort to ship the campaign by January 2026. Our target is October 2025.

I just sent a random set of 5% of backers from each tier their survey; this is called a SMOKE TEST and helps us gather feedback and make sure nothing is broken. In this survey you can make selections, add add-ons, and give us your shipping information.

As soon as 60% of backers who received the smoke test respond, Backerkit will allow us to send out the rest of the surveys. So, please fill out your survey completely if you receive one of the smoke tests!
